Exterior Painting

Depending on the height of the building and to obtain satisfactory finishes on the front, rear and sides of the property, it is necessary to erect a scaffolding. Once this is put up, the preparation work is carried out smoothly and in total safety. In rare cases one can do away with the scaffolding and use a safe ladder instead.

The surfaces are cleaned from impurities, the cracks are open and filled, then sanded to a smooth finish, ready to receive the paint. The procedure is valid for masonry and woodwork surfaces alike. Often, the woodwork is in a very poor state but it is concealed by several layers of paint; the wood is rotten and porous and needs replacement.

We do take care of all aspects of the maintenance procedure and inform the client before any additional work is carried out, especially on woodwork replacemet (windows sills above all).
